Who we are: Think Water Whitsunday is a long-established specialist water solutions business focused on the design, supply, installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, pumps and water treatment. As part of the Think Water network, the group is committed to providing solutions towards the rapidly changing landscape of water management throughout Australasia. 

The role: Reporting to the Store Manager, your primary responsibility will be to provide superior internal and external customer service. Involving, but not limited to sales, goods receiving, deliveries, and pump repairs. Assisting customers in-store and over the telephone with technical enquiries and create solutions that will meet requirements. Follow up sales leads and assist in managing stock levels. You will be expected to work Saturday mornings on a rostered basis. Wages are paid fortnightly.

The successful candidate:

  • Retail market experience
  • Good computer knowledge
  • Proven ability to diagnose problems and implement efficient solutions
  • Effective team player
  • Knowledge of fluid dynamics and pumps would be ideal but not essential
  • Strong passion for superior customer service delivery
  • A Class A driver licence.

We’re currently on the recruit for an experienced Sales Assistant to join our growing team!

About the role

  • Sell and serve walk in-store customers.
  • Assist customers with technical enquiries (in-store and phone calls).
  • Follow up sales leads/enquiries and prepare quotes as required.
  • Assist in managing stock levels for the store including ordering stock and equipment as required
  • Contribute to warehouse operations
  • Negotiate with suppliers

About the role: Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, maintain and install a range of irrigation equipment for our customers. This will involve but is not limited to, diagnosing, finding a solution and carry out works to meet the needs of our customers, whether in the field or workshop as required. Completion of all relevant paperwork relating to jobs undertaken both in the workshop and on-site.

Skills and experience:

Due to business growth, we now require a customer service Retail Irrigation Salesperson to join our team.

The role: Reporting to the Store Manager your primary responsibility will be to provide superior internal and external customer service that supports the sale of our products and services. This will involve, but not limited to assisting customers in-store and over the telephone with their technical enquiries and create solutions that will meet their requirements, follow up sales leads, assist in managing stock levels, point of sale pricing, book in repairs for customer equipment and machinery and co-ordinate repair jobs with other staff members and managers.

The successful candidate: To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of three years in retail within the irrigation sector, the ability to diagnose problems and implement efficient solutions and a proven track record as an effective team player. You will also have a strong passion for superior customer service delivery, a class C Manual driver’s licence will be mandatory, as well your flexibility with working hours as weekend work will be required on a rostered basis.
