Full-Time Retail Assistant

Think Water Northern Rivers

Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a full-time retail assistant based in our Alstonville showroom. Think Water Northern Rivers is a specialist water solutions business focussed on the design, supply installation and maintenance of all irrigation systems.

The Role: Your primary responsibility will be to provide internal and external customer service supporting the sale of our products and services. Assisting customers in-store or over the phone, with their technical enquiries and offer solutions that meet their requirements. Follow up sales leads, maintain stock levels & point of sale.
You will need to work with and input data into our ERP computer system.

Ideally, you will have the following: Knowledge in pump and irrigation equipment is highly regarded or background in plumbing and or plumbing trade sales. Experience with the use of Microsoft Office programs. Willingness to take on a variety of other tasks. Ability to following direction and be a team player.

Irrigation Technician – Installer

As part of the Think Water network, we are committed to providing solutions to the rapidly changing water management industry throughout Australasia.

About the role: Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, maintain and install a range of irrigation equipment for our customers. This will involve, but is not limited to, diagnosing, finding a solution and carry out works to meet the needs of our customers, whether in the field or workshop as required. Completion of all relevant paperwork relating to jobs undertaken both in the workshop and on-site.

Skills and experience:

  • Technical understanding of the products used in the building of an irrigation system e.g. pipes, valves, filters, controllers, sprinklers, dripline and pumps.
  • Sound mechanical knowledge;
  • The ability to diagnose problems and implement efficient solutions;
  • Passionate about superior customer service;
  • Vehicle driver’s licence will be necessary;
  • Be flexible with working hours if required, including occasional weekends;
  • Work unsupervised;
  • Be physically fit & healthy.
  • Prepared to follow company policies;
  • Work in a small team environment.
