Our Water Management Team

Our team is the strength of our business. With many years of experience in all aspects of Irrigation we are capable in all areas of pumping, irrigation, and filtration.

Our water management team are highly experienced and qualified and are continually trained to have the knowledge and experience to offer solid advice and troubleshoot your Irrigation problem. Our team works closely with suppliers and attend regular industry training courses as well as holding many Irrigation certifications.

We are a member with the Industry body Irrigation Australia and keep up to date with all the latest news and requirements.

Kylie Sims

Kylie joined Think Water Adelaide, previously known as Lomman Industries, in 1991. Her diverse administrative background included roles in HR recruitment, Project Administration, and Ethics and Compliance

In 2021, Kylie became a Director at Think Water Adelaide. Overseeing daily operations. Managing, Administration, HR, Accounting, Finances, Payroll, Safety, Tender Preparations, Marketing, and Promotions.

Kylie played a key role in the evolution of Think Water Adelaide, guiding it from a small family business to a medium-sized enterprise with 11 staff members. She also actively mentored many staff during their traineeships.

Adding to her accomplishments, Kylie holds a position on the Board of Directors for Think Water Holdings Australia/New Zealand. This highlights not only her impact at the local level but also her broader influence within the Think Water organization.

Kylie has formed lasting connections, earning the trust of staff, customers, government agencies, trade workers, suppliers, and the national support office. Her dedication to cultivating a positive work environment is apparent in the varied ways she contributes to the success of Think Water Adelaide

Luke Behn

Luke has a sound and tested background in Business and Project Management spanning more than 14 years in South Australia in both Public and Private sectors. Luke’s experience in both sectors gives him a well rounded approach and understanding to ensure both parties achieve the desired outcome for the project.

With over 14 years in Business and Project Management, Luke joined Think Water Adelaide in 2020 as the Senior Project/Business Development Manager. In 2021 Luke became a Director of Think Water Adelaide.

Luke has been instrumental in introducing and amending some of the Think Water Adelaide Management Systems to bring Think Water Adelaide to the fore front of not only irrigation installation but compliance too.

Luke’s goal is to continue to grow the business for retail, trade, schools and government customers ensuring the same quality and standards are maintained and applied for all customers.

Brenton Sims

Semi-Retired Advisor

Brenton joined Think Water when it was originally Lomman Industries in 1987. Brenton had previously worked in sales and design at Hardie Irrigation for 15 years and his specialty is irrigation design. Brenton has successfully managed many large commercial projects from the tender process through to the installation and project management. In recent years although focusing mainly on commercial turf irrigation he has been involved in agriculture, horticulture and golf.

Greg White

Greg has been in the Irrigation Industry since leaving school, some 22 years ago in the Riverland. Beginning in warehouse and logistics, Greg then became the Store Manager overseeing Store Procurement and Projects. Greg’s strengths are in customer service, irrigation design, problem solving and pump sales and repairs.

Greg joined Think Water Adelaide in 2019, starting in customer service and moving into Project Supervisor which includes tender submission, procurement, through to product preparation for major projects. Most recently Greg has worked on major installation projects including Fulham Gardens Primary School, Cummins House and SA Athletics Mile End.

Adam Nicolai

Since starting with Lomman Industries in 2006, Adam has been an integral part in growing Think Water Adelaide and ensuring that the business continues to be well-respected within the Irrigation Industry in South Australia.

Adam has successfully handled many commercial projects including tender submissions, quotation and materials gathering through to the completion of the project. Among others, recent major installation projects include LHI Retirement Services Irrigation Design and renewal; QR Concrete Irrigation of runway slabs at RAAF Edinburgh Base to ensure correct curing.

Adam has also been a wealth of knowledge for our retail customers, including design, customer service and sales of domestic irrigation systems. Adam has mentored new staff member through their traineeships, sharing his knowledge of design, installation, products and customer service.

Chris Everett

Starting in March 2021 as Retail Sales and Design/Repairs and Maintenance Coordinator, Chris comes with over 14 years experience in the industry, including running his own horticultural business for many years.

Chris has worked closely with an array of industries, including Councils, Education, Housing SA and has completed many domestic irrigation projects. Chris has an extensive knowledge of irrigation products and his exceptional customer service proves he is always willing to go that extra mile to help clients achieve their landscaping/irrigation goals.

Jason Buckley

With over 32 years of experience in the Irrigation Industry, Jason’s knowledge of irrigation installation and maintenance is extensive. Jason’s career started with one of the largest irrigation companies in Western Australia, working on major projects in the field and then running the store.

In 2001 Jason came on board as one of Think Water Adelaide’s primary sub-contractors, taking on some of the major projects including reclaimed water projects, dam filtration plant installation, pump station & decoder irrigation systems, and irrigation & drainage to name a few. In 2021, Jason joined Think Water Adelaide as a permanent employee.

Jason’s experience has seen him working across several industries including Councils, Botanical Gardens, Schools, RAAF, Racecourses, Cemeteries and domestic dwellings.

Averlie Cameron Stupple

Averlie joined our team in October 2022 on a part time basis. With a background in Accounting and business management, and former involvement within the property development industry, Averlie brings a vast array of experience in finance, marketing and design, plus a healthy dose of common sense and logic to the table. 

You could say that irrigation is in her blood, having spent school holidays as a child at the warehouse and office for Cameron Hunt & Associates. Averlie passed the time counting stock, unpacking orders, creating works of ‘art’ in the very early versions of AutoCAD and assembling various sprinklers. 

Averlie provides professional, high quality and friendly irrigation design service having developed her skills over the past few years while working with accomplished Certified Irrigation Designer, Don Cameron. Averlie has worked with a vast array of clients throughout South Australia, from Landscape architects to Councils and Sporting bodies. She has designed irrigation systems for countless reserves, play spaces, property developments and sports turf facilities, including many ovals such as the high profile site, Norwood Oval. 

Jordan Bowes

For 3 years, Jordan worked as a sub contractor to Think Water Adelaide before being snapped up as a trainee by the company in 2021. Jordan is completing the Certificate III in Irrigation Technology and has already been a huge support to the field staff on major projects, increasing his experience in the area of sprinkler installation, valve assembly, pump manifold assembly and electro fusion to name a few. Jordan has become a very competent trenching and excavating operator.

Cathy Coops

Cathy joined Think Water Adelaide in September 2021 as Office Administrator, supporting the Directors with an array of business processes and administrative tasks.

With over 30 years administrative experience, Cathy has worked in a variety of business environments including Local Government, Manufacturing, Banking, Education and International NFP. She has worked for small businesses, non for profit and large corporate bodies, with her number one focus to always provide exceptional customer service.

Cathy believes building a good rapport with stakeholders is paramount to running a successful business.
Cathy has a background in accounts, procurement, OHS and logistics. Her knowledge of Health & Safety Management systems extends to both self-insured and state regulated environments.

Troy Salomons

Troy Salomons has recently joined Think Water in July 2022 and brings with him over 15 years of effective Warehouse and Logistics management experience. His experience spans multiple private sector industries including manufacturing, solar and most recently automotive.  He has recently completely several online irrigation courses to familiarise himself with the irrigation industry.

Troy is meticulous in ensuring our warehouse is well organised, providing a safe environment for our employees and overseas stock picking and packing for our field staff.  Troy has exceptional customer service skills, people management, process development and implementation, technical knowledge and warehouse stock and quality control.  

Jack Andrewartha

Jack has joined the Think Water family recently bringing with him an array of experience in irrigation and pump field work. Starting his career in the Plumbing industry gave Jack a good grounding and experience for his role in Irrigation Management at the largest mandarin citrus growing farm in the Southern Hemisphere (2.P.H Farms – Emerald, Qld). As part of the construction and development of the 2020 East, stage 1 and 2 plantation, Jack’s role consisted of preparing the grounds for irrigation works, installing mains and sub mains, valves, sand filters and maintaining irrigation at their new 450 hectare farm. Jack was also responsible for the maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of the irrigation and fertigation systems, including Grundfos and Southern Cross pumps, to ensure continual water supply across all plantations spanning 1400 hectares.

Jack’s role as Tieri (Qld) town’s Grounds Supervisor saw him lead a crew of 6 maintaining the mining town’s lawns, gardens and parks as well as servicing, repairing and maintaining all irrigation and machinery.

Jack has a passion for continual learning and takes all opportunities to keep up to date with the latest information relating to irrigation and pumps.
