The role:

Reporting to the Business Owner your primary responsibility will be to ensure store targets are achieved through the effective leadership, management and training of a team of retail and project salespeople. This will involve but not limited to, building and maintaining close relationships with, and ensure a high standard of customer service is delivered to both retail and trade customers, reparation of staff rosters, maintaining relationships with key suppliers, implementation of retail marketing programs, improving the store environment and management of stock levels within budget requirements.

The successful candidate:

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of three years in retail management or in a retail supervisory role within irrigation or an equivalent environment such as plumbing with the ability to diagnose problems and implement efficient solutions. You will have a proven track record as an effective team player and leader, strong passion for superior customer service delivery and a class C NSW driver’s licence will be mandatory. A Cert III in Irrigation or equivalent will be highly desired as will the flexibility with working hours as weekend work will be required on a roster basis.

The role:

Reporting to the business owner your primary responsibility will be to run the accounts function of the business.

This will include not limited to, managing the Accounts Payable function from processing supplier invoices through to preparation of supplier payment run. Management of the Accounts Receivable function including issuing monthly statements to customers, reconciliation of debtors accounts and completion of debtors reporting as required, processing timesheets for payroll and preparation of payment run for authorisation, monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts, EOM procedures, calculation and filing of BAS, FBT, Workers Compensation etc.

The role will involve some retail sales and customer service to support retail staff.

The successful candidate:

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 3-5 years in bookkeeping within a small to medium enterprise, an Intermediate to Advanced level of computer literacy across the MS Office Suite, working knowledge of ERP software is desirable. Further, you will have the ability to manage your time and multiple tasks effectively and possess superior communication skills, both verbal and written.

The major products include Centre Pivots and irrigation products, pumps, solar solutions and all irrigation needs. Commissioning systems and training customers on product use will be part of the role. You will be required to liaise with our supplier base to ensure we can provide the best product and support in an efficient manner for our customers. The office/showroom is based in Biloela, however this role requires travel to customers based all over Queensland as well as interstate, and a company vehicle will be provided as part of your remuneration. The majority of work is mainly rural based, however does include civil and domestic projects.

The Successful Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you must have minimum experience of 5 years in the irrigation sector. Your proven capabilities will include, but are not limited to: the ability to interact with our customers in a professional and informative manner, diagnose problems and implement efficient solutions and a proven track record as an effective team player. Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, maintain and install a range of pumps & equipment for our customers. This will involve, but not limited to, the following:

  • Diagnose and repair equipment that is presented by customers in the field and in store when required;
  • Completion of all relevant paperwork relating to jobs undertaken both in the workshop and on site;
  • Diagnose and repair a range of pump types including but not limited to submersible, diaphragm, multistage, variable speed drives etc;
  • The provision of technical advice and sales support to customers in-store and over the phone;

The preferred candidate will demonstrate:

  • Sound knowledge of a variety of pump types, pivots & Dairy but not essential
  • Sound mechanical knowledge;
