RETAIL SALES PERSON – Full Time

Think Water Swan Hill is a specialist water solutions business focused on the design, supply and installation of domestic and industrial irrigation systems.  We currently have a vacancy for a Permanent, Full Time Retail Sales Person to join our team.  Approximately 40 hours per week, plus rostered Saturday mornings.

Reporting to our Store Manager and working as part of a professional team, your main role will be to provide superior internal and external customer service that supports the sale of our products and services. 

The successful applicant will need to:-

  • Display excellent computer skills
  • Have excellent Customer service skills
  • Have a positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Be willing to work rostered Saturday mornings
  • Demonstrate initiative

Desirable:-

  • Forklift licence would be an advantage
  • Previous experience in the industry desirable but not essential as training will be provided
  • Immediate start

Pump Service Technician – Full Time

Who We Are:
Think Water Bunbury is a specialist water solutions business focused on the design, supply, installation, and maintenance of all irrigation systems. As part of the Think Water network, the group is committed to providing solutions towards the rapidly changing landscape of water management throughout Australasia. We currently require a full-time Pump Service Technician to join our team and lead from the front.

The Role:
Reporting to the Business Manager, your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, maintain and install a range of irrigation equipment for our customers. This will involve, but not limited to, diagnosing, creative solutions and carrying out works to meet the needs of our customers, whether in the field or in-store as required, completion of all relevant paperwork relating to jobs undertaken both in the workshop and on-site, materials take-off and ordering of parts and equipment as required, plan external jobs in conjunction with other staff members and managers. These works would be carried out through a range of industries including Mining, Industrial, commercial market gardens, domestic and rural properties etc.

The Successful Candidate: 
To be successful in this role, you will, preferably, have experience in pumping systems from both a repair and installation aspect. You will demonstrate a sound knowledge of pumping and filtration systems, the ability to diagnose problems and implement efficient solutions, a proven track record as an effective team player as well as a strong passion for superior customer service delivery.  A Class C driver’s license will be mandatory (with MR/MC license also being an advantage). The preferred candidate must also be willing to travel for training and work as and when necessary. A formal Fitter/machinist trade is preferable however evidence of a high mechanical aptitude would be a minimum requirement.

Reticulation Service Technician – Full Time

Who We Are:
Think Water Bunbury is a specialist water solutions business focused on the design, supply, installation, and maintenance of irrigation and reticulation systems.  As part of the Think Water network, we are committed to providing solutions to the rapidly changing landscape of water management throughout Australia. 

We require the services of a full time employee to assist in our growing Irrigation and reticulation servicing department.

Your primary responsibility will be (but not limited to):

  • Install domestic and commercial reticulation systems
  • Diagnose, repair, maintain and install a range of irrigation equipment for our customers
  • Assist our senior technicians with on field requirements that may include large scaled pumping and irrigation systems.

To be successful in this role, you must be physically fit, have a current C class manual license (MR/MC truck drivers license will also be an advantage).

We would prefer previous industry experience but are willing to train the successful candidate in all aspects of irrigation & reticulation systems with the aim of being part of our team for the long term.

The remuneration will depend on previous experience and capability; however we aim to provide a well sort after package for the most promising applicant.

The work is mainly in the field and involves travelling to and from locations throughout the South West.

Due to continued growth in the local area we now require a Technical Pump Sales Professional to join our team.

This is a fast-paced role that requires experience and knowledge in all aspects of pumps and irrigation. Developing strong relationships with new and existing clients is vital in this role.

As the Technical Sales Lead, you will be required to design and develop quotations for clients and internal staff for a wide range of pumping systems. You will liaise with clients to develop a clear understanding of their expected outcomes, provide technical support to sales staff where required and develop an understanding of future opportunities within the market. Working in a team you will also liaise internally with engineers, procurement, and workshop to gather an understanding of delivery timeframes.

Additionally, you will:

  • Develop strategies and plans to identify and win new business from potential clients in the Irrigation sector
  • Review designs and project requests
  • Develop and provide project and system costs and estimations
  • Maintain CRM Project / Sales Pipeline Opportunities for pumps and irrigation

The preferred candidate will demonstrate:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in related roles and detailed knowledge of Commercial and Agricultural pump systems
  • The ability to diagnose problems and implement efficient solutions
  • Class C Driver Licence is mandatory.
