About The Business:

We are looking for a Project Sales Manager to join our team.

The Role:

The purpose of the role of Project Sales Manager will be to establish new clients and identify new irrigation and water supply projects through proactive business development while building long-term client relationships through effective project management.

Applicant’s should have proven business development experience with water systems or professional services will be essential. Demonstrated experience in designing commercial water or irrigation systems for landscape architects, horticulture or civil works will be highly regarded. A background in managing projects from start to finish and sound experience in design, analysis, costing, and project implementation is crucial to the success of this role.

The Successful Candidate

  • Project and contract management.
  • Lead and manage staff.
  • Prepare project plans that include milestones, and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Manage and deliver projects within budget, schedule, financial and quality parameters.
  • Prepare, monitor, and operate project budgets.
  • Promote a strong team function and culture, and manage conflict resolution.
  • Champion workplace health and safety among staff, contractors, customers, and members of the public.
  • Design commercial water or irrigation systems.

Pump & Irrigation Field Service Technicians

Think Water Northern Rivers is a specialist water solutions business focused on the design, supply, installation and maintenance of all irrigation systems. As part of the Think Water network, the group is committed to providing solutions towards the rapidly changing landscape of water management throughout Australasia. Due to significant growth in our business, we now require 2 x Pump & Irrigation Field Service Technician’s to join our team.

The Role:

Reporting to the Service Manager your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, maintain and install a range of pump and irrigation equipment for our customers.

Applications should include a current resume, with a cover letter addressing the ability to meet the following criteria:

  • Diagnose, create a solution, and carry out works to meet the needs of our customers, whether in the field or in-store as required.
  • Completion of all relevant paperwork relating to jobs undertaken both in the workshop and on-site.
  • Materials take-off and ordering of parts and equipment as required.
  • Plan external jobs and projects in conjunction with other staff members and managers.
  • The provision of technical advice and sales support to customer’s in-store and over the phone.

The Successful Candidate:

  • The ideal applicant will have a minimum of three years of pump repair and irrigation installation experience.
  • Sound knowledge of a variety of pump types.
  • The ability to diagnose problems and implement efficient solutions.
  • Proven track record as an effective and enthusiastic team player.
  • Strong passion for superior customer service delivery.
  • Class C driver licence will be mandatory.
  • A Cert III in Irrigation or Trade Qualification in Fitter Machining, Electrical or Plumbing.
